Technical Manager - Food Manufacturing - Surrey / South London
A well-respected food manufacturer, operating from a highly profitable site. This business has invested heavily in their modern well-equipped factory and are enjoying exponential sales growth. They manufacture a diverse range of products and now seek a Technical Manager in what is a key role for the business.
Monday to Friday - Days
* The Technical Manager will sit on the management team and will add their influence to decisions affecting the Quality and Technical department.
* The Manager appointed will be given a great deal of autonomy to manage the Quality Department consisting of QA, Technical, QC, Sampling, and Hygiene.
* Will provide support to Managers concerning a wide range of Quality and Technical issues.
* Will work closely with Production/Operations concerning positive release checks, raw material and finished product quality, compliance and site Audits.
* The Technical Manager will chair KPI review meetings for the Quality team. They will coordinate investigations relating to Quality, Safety, Non-Conformance and Legality.
* There will be a requirement to drive and coordinate Continuous Improvement activities and promote a Food Safety Culture.
* The Technical Manager will also develop and train their team, manage and improve the company Quality Management Systems and procedures.
It is expected that those applying for this role will have a solid employment record within Technical Management in the Food Industry.
* A demonstrable track-record of managing Quality / Technical teams within a Food Production environment.
Management expertise is important and you should have experience of managing and directing a Quality team within a Food Manufacturing environment.

Salary £62k - £65k pa Depending on Experience + Benefits
