* Contribute to the next generation of ACRO seating products, through concept generation and
early stage detailed design work
* Build proof of concept models using a range of mediums to illustrate the fit, form and function
of new designs
* Produce full design packages for new features and parts that consider cost, weight, passenger
experience, and product robustness
* Produce high-quality models and documents that enable smooth handover of work to the ACRO
NPD project team
* Work closely with the Technical Proposals Engineer and sales teams to understand customer
requirements for new features and products, and translate these requirements into feasible design concepts
* Generate and contribute to key Advanced Engineering documents and activities e.g. CMF,
Product design specification, gap & flush, marketing support and ergonomic studies
* Contribute to the development of full sales seats for showcase at customer and industry seat
A strong Product design or Mechanical engineering degree
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative ideas
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good personal time management and comfortable working to deadlines
* Capable of developing models both digitally and physically
* 3D CAD experience, CATIA V5 preferred
Desirable
* A demonstratable history of product creation, from concept to physical parts
* Able to communicate ideas through a full range of media, including, sketching, modelmaking, 3D
CAD and rendering
* Capable in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, Keyshot and Microsoft Office applications
* Experience in the Aerospace industry
