We are looking to appoint a French Assistant to start in September 2025 on a temporary 1-year contract initially. This will be a part-time position of approximately 10-12 hours, with the hours determined by pupil numbers. The days and hours worked can be discussed at interview.
What you'll be doing:
The candidate will work during term time only, providing conversation sessions on a one-to-one or small-group basis for pupils primarily in our exam year groups (Year 11 and Sixth Form). The successful applicant will be a clear communicator and have the skills to build pupils’ confidence in their spoken French.
You'll have:
* French language proficiency, ideally at the level of a native speaker
* Experience in teaching French as a foreign language
