A growing company with deep roots in Maritime is hiring a Business Development lead to take their offering to the next level.
The focus? Building strategic relationships across Commercial Shipping, Ports, Logistics, and Marine Operators.
This isn’t cold calling. It’s high-level strategic BD. You'll be shaping partnerships, spotting market opportunities, and helping the business land game-changing contracts.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Driving growth across the UK and international Commercial Maritime sector.

Identifying and targeting key clients: shipping lines, port authorities, marine tech firms.
*
Leading on bids, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
*
Building the company’s brand presence at industry events and maritime forums.
*
Working closely with delivery and technical teams to align offer with market need.
What You’ll Need:

Proven experience in BD or Sales within Commercial Maritime, Ports, or Marine Services.
*
Strong industry network — you’re already speaking with decision-makers.
*
Confident in bid strategy, deal structuring, and long-cycle consultative sales.
*
Able to work across the UK (some travel) with a Bristol base.
*
Comfortable blending autonomy with accountability — this is a leadership role.
