Job Description
We are seeking experienced SEN/SEND Tutors to provide high-quality education and support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs in Shropshire.
As a dedicated SEN/SEND Tutor, you will have the opportunity to transform the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners through flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging sessions tailored to individual needs
* Providing regular feedback and progress reports
* Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Proven ability to work with students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other additional educational needs
* Enhanced DBS clearance and two professional references
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
