Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Bradford
Contract Type: Day-to-day, Short-time, Long Term, Temp to Permanent
Pay Rate: £160 - £220 - Dependant on experience and qualifications
Leader Education are recruiting Teachers to work at specialist schools based in the Bradford area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/ young adults with SEN or SEMH needs. The schools cater for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and are aged between 4-18.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm

Requirements
* MANDATORY - PGCE/QTS/QTLS
* Ability to effectively deliver the curriculum, offering support, advice, and guidance to pupils.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* An understanding of SEND and an ability to carry out effective strategies and care in daily practice.
* Adaptability and initiative to accommodate for various
* learning types and abilities, striving towards social and academic development.
* High expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves.
* A current enhanced DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one.
Key responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high quality lessons.
* Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils of all different abilities.
* Communicating with pupils, teachers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams such as Teaching Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists.
* Building effective relationships with parents/carers, sharing information regarding pupil's progress, behaviour and well-being.
* Taking responsibility for pupil's educational development, ensuring equal provision for all.
