Job Description CoCounsel is a trusted generative AI assistant for legal professionals, working alongside lawyers as a member of the team, completing legal tasks at high quality and superhuman speed. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product Management to lead the global deployment of CoCounsel. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the product strategy, overseeing the rollout across diverse international markets, and ensuring the successful adoption of our AI-powered legal solution worldwide. About the Role In this opportunity as Director, Product Management (CoCounsel International), you will be responsible for: Develop and execute the global product strategy and roadmap for our AI legal assistant, aligning with company goals and market demands across different regions. Lead a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, data scientists, legal experts, and localization specialists to deliver a world-class AI legal assistant tailored for global markets. Oversee the adaptation of the AI assistant to various legal systems, languages, and cultural nuances in different countries. Collaborate with regional teams to identify market-specific requirements and incorporate them into the product development cycle. Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and create detailed product specifications that address the needs of diverse international markets. Develop and implement strategies for seamless integration with existing legal tech ecosystems in different countries. Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and adoption plans for each region. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, user adoption, and impact across global markets. Ensure compliance with international data privacy laws, ethical AI guidelines, and legal industry regulations in all deployed markets. Stay informed about global legal tech trends, AI regulations, and market opportunities to inform product strategy and roadmap. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, regulatory agencies, law firms, and legal associations in various countries. Present product updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to executive leadership. Drive continuous improvement by gathering and analyzing user feedback from different regions and incorporating insights into product enhancements. In this role, you will work with leaders and stakeholders from these teams in refining our product roadmap, while also playing a hands-on role in leading cross-functional distributed product teams through product discovery and delivery. Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, particularly in the context of legal applications. Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products; experience launching products in multiple international markets preferred. Understanding of various legal systems and the global legal technology landscape. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels across different cultures. Experience in managing products that require localization and adaptation for diverse markets. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and global project management practices.
