Salary: £29,000 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and driven individuals to join our team as Residential Children’s Support Workers in Stoke on Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people in a residential care setting, providing a safe and nurturing environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide hands-on support and care to children within a residential setting, prioritising their safety and well-being at all times.
* Create and implement tailored care plans for each child, addressing their individual needs and goals.
* Maintain effective communication with children, their families, and the care team to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
* Transport children to appointments and activities, ensuring punctuality and smooth transitions.
* Keep accurate records of children’s progress and any incidents, using IT systems for documentation.
* Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to continuously improve the care experience and outcomes for each child.
* Build trust-based relationships with children, grounded in respect, empathy, and open communication.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working with children or in a care setting is desirable, but not essential.
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage children and families in a positive and supportive manner.
* Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* Ability to work well within a team and independently.
* A full, clean driving license is essential
