Position Summary
The Training & Education manager is a pivotal role responsible for both external professional education initiatives as well as internal sales enablement programs. This is a highly skilled role requiring subject matter expertise on product, value propositions, competitive market, clinical acumen, selling skills, and business acumen. The goal is to equip the commercial team with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to win in their territory. Works closely with our international and regional marketing and sales team, and with healthcare professionals. This role develops and executes a comprehensive sales training and education strategy across the Flexicare portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
· Design and implement effective training and education programs in the areas of selling skills, clinical knowledge, product knowledge and tools/ resources available to support customer discussions
· Deliver training to both new and tenured sales professionals, through various venues including live instructor led courses, virtual classrooms, and field-based training/coaching
· Identify skills or knowledge gaps and develop targeted training initiatives to address, measure and improve comprehension, application, and competence
· Monitor and improve training programs based on feedback and performance metrics
· Drive project management for product launch trainings, including the rollout to various regions, and conduct Train-the-Trainer expert sessions.
· Manage learning events (classroom, webinar, etc.) & own the Learning platform
· Lead existing HCP and KOL relationships for the successful promotion and execution of Live Training, Educational Speaker Programs, Webinars and Educational Symposiums
· Join sales force on field visits ensuring correct implementation of product and clinical competencies
· Work with cross functional team to align on the standardization of education initiatives
Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
ESSENTIAL
· Science or Business based bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· 5+ years of experience in delivering training on medical technologies
· Proven track record in managing training programs, developing educational materials, and maintaining training records
· Experience medical education programs
· Proficiency in English
DESIRABLE
· Adult Learning, facilitation skills certification is a plus
· Expertise in Airway Management is a plus
· Second EU language
