A Dorset based food manufacturing company is looking to recruit a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for their production facility based in the Poole / Bournemouth area.
As a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a small team of shift engineers providing engineering support to the production area, responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.
The site is part of a group of sites/businesses across the UK that are on a significant path for growth and development, and so opportunities to progress are very real.
Role:
* Multi-skilled, either electrically or mechanically biased will be considered
* 3 on 3 off Shifts Days and Nights (12 hour) 5:15 and 17:15

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:
* Assist the team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency to minimize downtime
* Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
* Ensure good repair/manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
* Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents/CMMS
* Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
* Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Experience and skills required of Maintenance Engineer:
* Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G's or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC/HNC level
* Multi-skilled, electrically biased with some mechanical skills/experience
* Apprenticeship trained
* Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
* Manufacturing/production experience required
