We are looking to recruit an Environmental Operative to join our busy Waste Collection Service on a full-time contract, based at our Penrhos Depot.
There is an opportunity to join the Local Environmental Services Team, providing frontline collections of recycling, food waste, residual waste, and glass. The Environmental Operative post holder may be required to work as part of the wider service, including Street Cleansing and Ground Maintenance.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
* Load refuse and recycling materials onto vehicles as required.
* Empty litter bins.
* Assist with works in the wider Local Environmental Services team in keeping with the profile of the post.
* Engage in physical activities including lifting, sweeping, stretching, and bending.
* Work outside in all weather conditions.
We are looking to recruit an individual who has:
* Experience of physical/manual work.
* Experience of working in a team environment.
