Are you an experienced modern foreign languages teacher looking for a new role?
We are currently recruiting for a MFL teacher who specialises in German for our client, a secondary school based in Middleton. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving school, that has a most recent Ofsted rating of ‘good’ and is constantly over-subscribed. The school are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join their team, who is committed to achieving the best results out of all students.
Your daily responsibilities will be to liaise with your head of department in order to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons, and to complete marking of any set work. You will be working with children of all abilities and class sizes up to GCSE level, so versatility is key.
The school are happy to accept applications from both well experienced MFL teachers and ECT’S, with a guaranteed interview for all suitable applicants.
Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent
* Fluent in German, and confident in delivering lessons to both KS3 and 4.
* Ability to teach other languages in addition to German would be highly desirable
* Child only DBS certificate registered on the update service
* Must be able to provide two educational references.
