Children’s Social Worker Academy Lead
Location: Liverpool
Rate: £46
3 Days per week in Liverpool on site.
Our Practice Academy is recruiting for a new role – Children’s Workforce Academy Lead. The candidate will be an experienced and registered children’s Social Worker and a Practice Educator. They will have strong experience in Children’s Services, having previously managed and supervised social workers. A good understanding of workforce development and training is essential.
The successful candidate will be motivated, inspired, and creative in their working approach, with a passion to drive the Academy forward.
The role will support the Head of Service of Workforce Development and Learning, including the following responsibilities:
1. Supporting and leading Workforce Development from a practice perspective across Children’s Services.
2. Providing leadership to all Practice Development Officers and Workforce Coordinators in the team.
3. Recruiting, inducting, and training team members.
4. Developing and delivering robust training programmes across the workforce (e.g., ASYE, Apprenticeships, Step-ups).
5. Coordinating, planning, designing, and evaluating training opportunities for all learners.
3 days per week in Liverpool on site.
