We are actively recruiting a Part-time Bookkeeper for our office. We require an experienced and dedicated individual who is able to offer first class customer service to our clients and partners, supporting our culture of quality and pursuit of excellence. You will be extremely efficient, used to working in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail.
You will play a crucial role in our fast-growing team, which is part of a group with ambitious growth targets. We are seeking someone who thrives in a high-performing yet friendly team with a family feel.
The role is office based at our office in Preston but will also support our Liverpool office as well.
We can be flexible on when the hours are worked but one of the 3 days of work must be a Monday.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily financial operations of the business
* Process invoices and manage accounts payable/receivable
* Ensure receipt and purchase invoices are matched to bank transactions
* Managing incoming payments and allocate to accounts
* Take payments over the phone and process Direct Debits
* Support the preparation of financial reports
* Maintain accurate financial records
* Assist with payroll processing
* Credit control duties as required
* Liaise with other departments to ensure financial procedures are followed
* Resolve internal and external queries quickly and professionally
* Ensuring (templated) client service agreements are signed
* Work closely with our Business Manager and Managing Director on financial and business matters

Qualifications and Skills:
* Must have previous Bookkeeping experience
* Strong knowledge of financial processes
* Experience using Xero and Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excel skills to at least the level of pivot tables
* Strong communication skills
* Strong work ethic and a proactive ‘Can Do’ attitude
* High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
