We have an immediate vacancy for a Legal Assistant/Secretary to join our client's commercial property team.
The role involves:
1. Preparing introductory letters to clients with relevant initial enclosures and assisting in client engagement.
2. Preparing and drafting documents for fee earners.
3. Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and bespoke software.
4. Updating clients, agents, and solicitors.
5. Preparing all relevant correspondence on behalf of fee earners.
6. Assisting with billing/invoicing clients.
7. Opening new files, closing files, general file keeping, and file progression.
8. Diary management on behalf of fee earners, scheduling client meetings, and liaising with clients on behalf of fee earners, as well as dealing with client queries as necessary.
9. Typing, file administration, and using Land Registry portals and LMS.
10. An ability to work proactively and independently.
Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
