Band 7 Locum MSK Sonographer • Position: MSK Sonographer • Banding: 7 • Location: Croydon • Start: ASAP • Rate: £34.71 per hour We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Locum MSK Sonographer to join a dynamic imaging team in Croydon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting, performing Musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound scans to assist in diagnosing and managing patient conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MSK ultrasound and be confident in working independently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities: As an MSK Sonographer, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality MSK ultrasound examinations, ensuring accurate imaging and diagnosis. You will work closely with radiologists, physiotherapists, and referring clinicians to support patient treatment plans. The role requires interpreting scan results, producing detailed reports, and ensuring all imaging is carried out following best practices and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining imaging equipment, managing patient safety, and upholding clinical excellence. Requirements: BSc in Diagnostic Radiography/Sonography or equivalent qualification. HCPC or SCoR registration (or equivalent). Extensive experience in MSK ultrasound scanning. Proficiency in independent reporting of MSK scans. Strong understanding of ultrasound safety, protocols, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
