Job Title: Wholesale Merchandiser - Fashion
Client Details:
A rapidly growing Fashion Multi Channel retailer in the Swinton area of Greater Manchester is seeking a Wholesale Merchandiser to join their team. The business sells Womenswear Fashion products across dresses, casual wear, swimwear, shoes, accessories, etc. Through their collaborative model and in-house garment design, they create unique collections for all occasions.
Description:
1. Merchandising point of contact for key accounts such as ASOS, Very & Matalan.
2. Management of range plans across key accounts & of the critical path from order placement through to delivery to the customer.
3. Working closely with Account Managers to arrange all delivery details of potential orders.
4. Manage compliance & packaging requirements from customers with suppliers through to the processing of the goods with the warehouse.
5. Managing a team of Assistant Merchandisers and Trainee Merchandisers to aid development and ensure a positive working environment.
6. Updating wholesale partners with a critical path on intake & highlighting any potential risks.
7. Support in weekly calls with partners on critical path & customer queries with Account Manager.
8. Coordination of dispatches to customers in the UK and overseas.
9. Internal liaison with Logistics and warehouse functions.
10. Managing the process of re-orders and stock-orders.
11. Liaising with suppliers and customers on a daily basis.
12. Overseeing bookings & order confirmations on customer portals.
13. Oversee the completion of buys with the sales team & work through unconfirmed buys with the wider team efficiently.
14. Trade analysis of customer sales with the Account Manager.
15. Complete weekly trade updates across intake, dispatch & commitment.
16. Provide end of season selling analysis to present information back to the business & partners in conjunction with the sales team.
17. Support team to ensure monthly targets are achieved, with regular reviews of delivery schedules & a forward view of upcoming trade months.
18. Support Account Manager with forecasting during selling season to ensure enough stock is booked to reach the target and maximize any in-season trading opportunities.
19. Continually review improved ways of working for the department.
20. Optimize profit and reduce costs and risk to the business.
21. Work with the team to solve any day-to-day challenges, including stepping in to get deliveries confirmed where partners push back on intakes.
22. Manage day-to-day queries/problems that arise within the department.
23. Liaising with other areas of the business i.e. Finance, Garment Tech, Design & Buying, Warehouse, Retail department, Marketing & Creative.

2. Highly organized, confident multi-tasker with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Demonstrate good commercial understanding.
5. Ability to manage workload and prioritize when required.
6. Previous Wholesale & Merchandiser experience.
7. First-hand experience of working within a Key Account structure.
8. Proficiency across the entire Microsoft Office suite.
9. Strong Excel skills.
10. Team player who is responsible and reliable.
