We are now looking for a Lecturer in Business Management to join our Swansea campus on a Part time, Permanent basis, working (0.4FTE) 14.8 hours per week. THE ROLE The post of Lecturer (Business Management) will be located within the Institute of Management and Health. The post holder will be under the line management of the Academic Director (Swansea). The post is primarily concerned with learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including supervision of student research projects/dissertations within a broad range of Business and Management subject areas. You will be expected to deliver academically challenging, vocational-related content, incorporating innovative teaching and assessment methods to develop students' competence and capability in a variety of areas. You will make a positive contribution to the operational activities of the Institute that may cover areas such as dissertation supervision, student recruitment, marketing activities, research seminars and workshops, staff training and professional development. Critical to the post is up-to-date experience of working in the field of business and management, together with a commitment to widening access, and a willingness to teach on campuses across South Wales. The post demands innovative approaches to Learning and Teaching to a diverse student body whilst maintaining rigorous quality assurance of the programme. You will offer both academic and pastoral feedback and support to students with due regard to professional standards and the ongoing enhancement of the student experience.
