Job Title: Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Location: Private Mental Health Hospital, Spratton, Northampton
Salary: £18.87 – £21.68 per hour (depending on experience)
Contracted Hours: 36 – 48 Hours per week
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a private mental health hospital in Spratton, Northampton. Our facility offers specialist mental health care for individuals with chronic mental ill-health and behaviors that challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs.
2. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
3. Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans for patients.
4. Offer support and guidance to patients to help them manage their conditions.
5. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
7. Adhere to all relevant legal, regulatory, and clinical guidelines.
8. Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
1. Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
2. Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
3. Previous experience working in a mental health setting.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
6. Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
7. Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
