About the role

Working in the Digital Operations team, you'll collaborate with various teams across the business, including Category, Supply, Logistics, IT, Store Operations, Marketing, Product teams, and the CSC.
You will be involved in everything from troubleshooting website issues and managing online fraud risk to analyzing data to gain insights into how we can improve our service.
With this exciting opportunity, you will meaningfully contribute to the delivery of Boots' Digital Transformation agenda. By putting the customer at the heart of all we do and focusing on value delivery, you will shape and deliver the digital product vision, roadmap, and subsequent development across our digital channels.
* Serve as a pivotal Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) in our Digital Transformation project, ensuring new technologies align with our operational needs.
* Develop and implement process guides, embedding new processes and tools into the Operations team seamlessly.
* Analyze data to gain insights, produce regular Management Information (MI) reports on daily trading, and share key updates with senior management and stakeholders.
* Continuously improve our customer offerings by working cross-functionally and with third parties to gather information and resolve issues.
* Manage day-to-day operational activities, ensuring they are completed accurately and within set KPIs. Identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
* Lead and manage a team of Operations Assistants, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and supporting their personal development.
* Act as the primary contact for escalations from various teams, resolving issues, answering queries, and providing expert advice.
* Assign and prioritize workloads for the team based on urgency and importance.
* Support business projects from inception to delivery, ensuring operational requirements are identified and addressed. You will be part of a flexible team that provides expertise and support to various teams across the business.

* Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
* A proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
* Experience in driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
It would be great if you also have
* Demonstrated experience in operations management, ideally within a digital or technology-focused environment.
* In-depth knowledge of e-commerce technologies and platforms.
* Experience in another large-scale e-commerce transformation.
* Strong understanding of data analytics and the ability to leverage insights to inform decision-making.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* A passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
