The Chief Operations & Infrastructure Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and provide strategic direction across a Directorate focused on delivering exceptional service outcomes to the community. This role will lead a diverse team across Capital and Infrastructure, Recreation and Leisure, and the Operations Centre, taking an innovative approach to providing essential services.
This position plays a pivotal role in embedding a continuous improvement mindset and building a culture of safety, innovation, and customer-centricity across the Council. To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified engineer with proven experience leading operations or infrastructure functions to deliver exceptional results. You will demonstrate executive-level experience within a service delivery environment, whether in Local Government, State Government, Utilities, Consultancy, or another aligned sector. Above all, you will bring a passion for excellence in service and project delivery, and a desire to innovate to ensure the best possible outcomes for the Council and the Nillumbik community.
