EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is a subsidiary of Edvance, a joint venture between EDF and Framatome, established in 2018, responsible for the design and realization of nuclear islands for new projects in France and worldwide.
In particular, EDF EPR-E UK is responsible for the design and construction of the nuclear island for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project and preparing the design replication and engineering activities for the Sizewell C (SZC) Project.
At HPC, we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK, providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
We are looking to recruit for the role of Steelwork Delivery Team Lead.
The Team Lead will need to liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the Steelwork detailed design for HPC and SZC. The Team Lead will be responsible for a team of Coordinators, which will include coordination and configuration engineers, and Coordination Leads for each building 'Area'. Ultimately, the Team Leader will lead their team to deliver the design and manage the configuration.
This role includes managing the team within the current fusion scenario, which will involve managing people in our office in France. Ultimately, this role will require facilitating the full transfer of scope to the Bristol office. Part of the role will be to establish the team and set it up for successful delivery, as the team does not currently exist in the organization.
