Due to their continued growth, they are looking to bring on board an experienced and detail-oriented Insolvency Cashier. Key Responsibilities As the Insolvency Cashier, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions for various insolvency cases, and you will also have the opportunity to work on solvent liquidations. Your responsibilities will include: Processing and recording payments and receipts for insolvency cases in line with industry regulations and internal protocols. Managing client accounts, ensuring that all funds are accurately allocated and recorded. Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining comprehensive financial records. Working on solvent liquidations, assisting with the financial aspects of winding up solvent companies. Liaising with banks, stakeholders, and insolvency practitioners to ensure the smooth transfer of funds and completion of transactions. Preparing and submitting statutory returns and reports related to insolvency cases. Supporting VAT returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Monitoring and reviewing cash flow, ensuring that all processes meet the standards set by Insolvency Practitioners. Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes related to insolvency cases. Providing support to the insolvency team with any ad-hoc financial administration or reporting tasks. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Experience: Proven experience in a cashier or financial administration role, ideally within the insolvency sector or a related field. Knowledge: A strong understanding of insolvency processes and regulations, with a focus on compliance and best practices. Solvent Liquidations Experience (desirable): Experience or a willingness to work on the financial aspects of solvent liquidations. Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure that all financial records and transactions are meticulously maintained. Organisational Skills: The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-growing environment. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
