About the job
The new HR Advisor joins Churchill at a very exciting time, as we enter our next phase of growth. As HR Advisor you will work with the HR team to deliver the People plan providing HR support to Managers and Colleagues across the Company.
This is a true generalist role with a great opportunity to get involved in a wide range of people related activity and work with Managers and Colleagues across all aspects of the Company.
This role will involve:
3. Providing advice, guidance and coaching to Managers and Colleagues across the Company on ER and people matters
4. Ensuring all probationary reviews and 121’s are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard, providing advice to Managers to support this
5. Supporting the recruitment team and Managers with interviewing and assessments
6. Coordinating our peer recognition programme
7. Working with the HR team to undertake job evaluations and benchmarking
8. Conducting exit interviews, providing analysis of trends
9. Conducting new starter surveys to ensure our new Colleagues are receiving an effective induction to the Company
10. Collating MI information from our internal HR system and providing data, highlighting themes identified
11. Preparing key HR data/metrics including staff retention, diversity data, absence, best company data etc
12. Reviewing and drafting policies, ensuring they are fit for purpose and support our commitment to equality and diversity
About you
It’s important to us that you love what you do and believe in providing a HR service that puts the person at the centre of every decision, conversation, process improvement or policy.
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor who is confident in their knowledge and ability to provide sound advice across a variety of people matters including Employee Relations, HR Processes, Reward and Employee Engagement.
Our ideal HR Advisor will hold a CIPD Level 3 certificate and be confident operating HR systems as we have recently implemented People HR across the business.
It goes without saying that you will be organised, an effective communicator in person and on the telephone, with professional verbal and written skills, resourceful, approachable, diligent and solutions orientated.
As a national company some travel will be required in this role, therefore access to a vehicle and a valid UK driver’s licence is required.
