Acting as the strategic liaison between the People and Culture team and the Charity, you’ll align people practices with organisational objectives to drive performance, development, and a values-driven culture. You’ll be working closely with multiple heads of departments and directors, enabling organisational success by driving proactive, behavioral-led people strategies. Key Responsibilities • Working with Multiple Stakeholders to align People strategies with our strategy, driving behavioural-led solutions that promote inclusivity, innovation, and resilience. Building strong, trusting partnerships to support performance, succession, and workforce planning. • Lead change initiatives that support growth and align with our values, proactively assessing risks and providing key insights to inform strategic decisions. • Provide coaching and development support to managers and colleagues, boosting engagement, productivity, and cultural alignment. Also, partnering with L&D to build a learning culture that reflects our strategic aims and values. • Facilitate training programs that reinforce our goals, working closely with L&D and People Operations. Lead the consistent application of HR policies and practices, identifying areas for improvement and recommending changes. • Partner with HR Operations, Talent and Resourcing, and L&D to provide strategic guidance, drive performance and engagement, and ensure a safe, compliant environment. • Analyse HR metrics and engagement tools to drive strategic decisions, improve practices, and optimise People initiatives based on trends and data-informed recommendations. • Oversee BP support across multiple sites, aligning with the charity’s mission and values, and work with site managers to address challenges and tailor HR solutions, partnering with the People team to optimise managerial support. • Serve as an ambassador for transformational change, shifting the business mindset on the role of the people function and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to implement HR initiatives that drive business objectives. • Communicate effectively across all levels to build transparency, trust, and alignment with our values, while advocating for the employer brand by promoting our mission, values, and commitment to positive cultural change. Person Specification • Proven track record as a strategic People Business Partner, handling complex transformational change across head office functions and airbases, influencing the wider scope of the charity’s operations and culture. • CIPD Level 7 or relevant experience in HR leadership and strategic business partnering. • Passionate about the mission of TAAS, with a collaborative approach that aligns with our core values. • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, operating at pace in multi-site environments. • Skilled in using data-driven insights to inform HR strategies and decisions. • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and cultural alignment. • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, able to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels. • Confident in presenting findings and change strategies to the Board of Trustees, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organisational goals. • Ability to work collaboratively and deliver results while navigating complexity and maintaining compliance. • Political and emotional intelligence to lead transformational change and build strong, strategic partnerships.
