Process Engineer - Automotive Retail Industry
A manufacturer of bespoke precision components for the aerospace industry is seeking a Process Engineer to join their growing automation department. Working alongside the Manufacturing and Automation engineering teams, the Process Engineer will be identifying and leading projects around Continuous Improvement, Improving Health & Safety, Productivity, Scrap reduction, and Automation.
Responsibilities of Process Engineer:
1. Improve daily automation operational metrics within the business.
2. Implement and help maintain Lean Manufacturing practices.
3. Involvement in Automation investments, robot programming, and additive manufacturing.
4. Supporting the development of fixtures and tooling using CAD software.
5. Responsible for technical documentation, including but not limited to CAPEX, SWPs, and Training Matrixes.
6. Identify new opportunities within the drive to maintain a continuous improvement mentality.
The ideal candidate will have had previous exposure to programming industrial robots, be able to evaluate hardware designs, and have a key focus on Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.
