Commercial Gas Engineer
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (40 Hours)
Main Purpose of the Commercial Gas Engineer:
* To ensure the operation and condition of all site assets are maintained and are operating as they should and according to the requirements of the client.
* To attend breakdowns within the allocated response time of the contract.
* To fault find, repair and rectify faults accurately.
Day to Day Duties:
The day to day duties of the commercial gas engineer will include:
* Carry out PPM checks and scheduled maintenance procedures on all site Heat plant and associated systems and services.
* Be the 1st line reactive response within the time to any faulty assets, to diagnose and rectify the fault.
* Perform remedial, upgrades, retrofits and replacements works
* Ordering of replacement parts
* To leave all plant and equipment in a safe condition in accordance to current GAS Safe regulations
* To ensure that all work is performed in accordance to current GAS safe regulations
* Working closely with Service Desk and assisting other engineers on site when required.
Experience Required:
The commercial gas engineer will have a minimum of 5 years experience in PPM, diagnostics, repair, remedial works and small works on full commercial boiler plant, heating systems associated pipe work and control systems.
Desirable:
Experienced in the service and maintenance of combustion management systems
Qualifications:
* ACS Commercial Gas: CCN1, CENWAT, COCN1 / CODNCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1a, BMP1
* Where required: CORT1, TPCP1, CCP1
