My Client, an established food manufacturer supplying premium products predominantly to wholesalers, is currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their team. This role will report to the Supply Chain Manager. The Office Administrator will ensure tasks relating to sales order processing and stock management are completed and will ideally have experience with credit control. This role is a mix of administration and credit control.
You will be responsible for performing general administration tasks relating to the day-to-day running of the business, as well as supporting the Supply Chain Manager and the Accounts Controller. You will need to have the ability to use your own initiative to carry out daily duties accurately and in a timely fashion, to a high standard, and possess great communication skills at all levels.
Office Administrator Key Duties:
1. Sales order processing
2. Receipting of purchase orders
3. Liaising daily with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability for production
4. Stock recording of daily goods in and out
5. Liaising with customers on orders and deliveries and preparing paperwork
6. Using customer and online portals for managing orders
7. Preparing and recording daily paperwork for the production department
8. Organising and dispatching samples for customers as well as arranging courier collections
9. Processing customer invoices
10. Sending statements
11. Speaking with customers to organise payments
12. Processing payments and maintaining up-to-date customer records on Sage
13. Keeping on top of credit accounts and ensuring they are paying within agreed credit terms
14. Raising credit issues to senior management
Skills / Experience required:
1. Attention to detail
2. Experience of Sage is desirable
3. The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office and email
6. Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
Benefits

2. Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 - 37.5 hours per week
