The company are based in multiple countries with offices in the UK, USA, India, Australia and European Countries. The Birmingham office are central to UK operations and are seeking to appoint an Architect to their growing design team.
The company are seeking a talented Architect to join their dynamic team and design transformative facilities for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients across the UK and Europe. This is your chance to leverage your architectural expertise to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities of the Architect include the following:
Develop preliminary architectural designs and manage all phases of the architectural process.
Collaborate on a variety of design types, producing drawings, specifications, presentations, and documentation to solve design challenges.
Ensure all project specifications meet quality standards, are compliant with regulatory agencies, and are delivered punctually.
Create comprehensive Workplans, estimating hours and deliverables necessary for design tasks.
Interact with clients to clarify scope and design intent, while conducting research on equipment selections as needed.
Utilise Revit for developing architectural solutions in line with BIM/CAD standards, create renderings, and tackle special projects as assigned.Qualifications required of the Architect for this position as follows:
UK recognised qualifications at Part 1, 2 & 3 level
ARB registered & RIBA Chartered (desired)
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the life sciences or healthcare sectors.
Proficiency in Revit and other 3D modeling software.
Extensive experience in planning, designing, and constructing engineering projects within the life sciences industry (desired)
Strong understanding of UK planning laws, building regulations, and the ability to interpret project specifications.
Knowledge of integrated system designs (process, mechanical, structural, civil, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection) in relation to architectural design.
Familiarity with BIM workflows to enhance project efficiency.In return, the Architect will be offered a salary in the region of £40,000-£50,000 per annum, alongside a competitive benefits package.
