The Role
TH is looking to add a seasoned Investment Banker to join our Tech Services practice. The chosen candidate will play a critical role in advising clients on M&A transactions in the IT & Tech-enabled Services verticals. As part of our Tech Services practice, the role requires a professional with in-depth knowledge of capital markets, M&A, and established relationships with companies across the UK, and ideally, Europe. This senior position is integral to driving the firm's advisory capabilities, delivering customized financing strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction through expertise and high-touch service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Building and nurturing relationships with Tech & IT Services companies in both the UK & Europe
2. Setting "best practices" internally to streamline work
Key Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, CFA, ACA) are highly preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 10 years in M&A, corporate finance, or related fields, with a strong record of leading complex financing transactions, particularly in the Tech Services space.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reviewing financial modeling and working knowledge of legal documentation for financing transactions.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of establishing trusted client relationships.
Performance Metrics:
1. Client Satisfaction: Consistently high client satisfaction scores and repeat business.
2. Deal Volume: Effective closure of transactions within agreed timelines and budgets.
3. Revenue Generation: Contribution to the firm's revenue targets through successful deal sourcing and execution.
