Providing high-quality accounting, taxation, auditing and advisory services that help each client achieve their goals.\n\nProvide advice to a complex client base, manage relationships and learn a variety of technical skills and work on national and international business.\n\nAbout The Role\n\nWe are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Auditor / Senior Auditor / Audit Semi Senior with a strong background in accounting, finance, and audit, as well as experience working in a PRACTICE setting. This position will be responsible for conducting audits of financial statements, compliance with regulations, and internal controls\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n- Work in the Advisory Team.\n\n- Interact with and manage clients.
Client facing role immediately – meeting with companies over £200 million in revenue, providing and learning audit advice.\n\n- Conduct thorough audits of financial statements, transactions, and internal controls to identify discrepancies or irregularities.\n\n- Evaluate compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to best practices.\n\n- Analyse accounting systems and processes to recommend improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy.\n\n- Prepare detailed audit reports and findings, communicating results to stakeholders and providing recommendations for corrective actions.\n\n- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting and finance departments, to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.\n\n- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to maintain expertise in audit methodologies and practices.\n\nQualifications\n\n- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience\n\n- ACCA or ACA qualification is preferred, or qualified by experience\n\n- 2 Years+ of experience in accounting and auditing, preferably in UK Public Practice\n\n- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.\n\n- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is crucial.\n\n- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.\n\nPerks\n\n- No time-sheets\n\n- Paid Time Off: 35 days paid Holiday Leave\n\n- Work from home policy, allow school pick up and drop off\n\n- Comprehensive ACCA study support\n\n- Three-month salary & performance reviews\n\n- Tailored, hands-on training from Ex-Big 4 partners.\n\n- Monthly external training plus regular office sessions & catch-ups\n\n- Parking and bus stop on the doorstep.\n\n- Progressive & cloud-focused firm investing in technology & your development\n\n- Social environment, and numerous staff events\n\n- Weekly lunch group exercise classes and social events.\n\n- Fully comprehensive Healthcare plan, including hospital cover, dental & vision
