What does a Bank Support Worker do?
Bank Support Workers must provide the highest standard of support at all times, meeting the needs of people we support as recorded in their care plan.
As a Support Worker, you would have a varied role, supporting individuals with a range of disabilities. You would be responsible for:
* Encouraging independence
* Supporting people to participate in hobbies, activities, and the community
* Supporting people to manage their health needs and liaising with health professionals
* Supporting people to manage their own homes
* Developing the life skills of the people we support
* Assisting with personal finances
* Supporting with personal hygiene
* Supporting with medication
* Providing advice and problem-solving when required
Hours:
Hours will vary, and bank employees work on a zero-hour basis. We are looking for full-time and part-time candidates at present. Flexibility is advantageous!
Location:
We currently work in Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, and Northumberland, with vacancies across these locations.
