Duties and responsibilities: Ensure that young people in the service have access to appropriate resources, education, and support to lead fulfilling lives and reach their full potential. Assist young people in communicating with professionals, family members, and other support networks. Promote independent living by supporting and guiding young people in developing new skills, engaging with the community, and participating in activities. Ensure young people are following their routines and maintaining a clean, well-equipped environment. Keep accurate records using our electronic recording and reporting system, in compliance with Ofsteds supported accommodation regulations and minimum standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, local authorities, and families to provide comprehensive support through a multi-agency approach. You will: Be dedicated to helping young people achieve positive outcomes on a daily basis. Support young people tocommunicate effectively. Have a foundational knowledge of Supported Living and Ofsted regulations. Training will be provided to enhance your understanding. Be able to demonstrated empathy, patience, and commitment to the well-being of young people and colleagues. Be a positive role model for those in our care, showing dedication to their support plans and working towards achieving positive outcomes. Skills or experience needed: Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care) or willingness to work towards upon successful completion of probationary period. Experience working with young people, ideally in a supported living, residential care or similar environment. Experience or training in working with young people with additional needs or challenging behaviour Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and supported accommodation standards. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check clearance. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required. Full driving licence.
