This is an initial 6-month FTC, with the view of going permanent after.
Hybrid role with 2 days on site in Bexhill, East Sussex.
Duties:
* Provide day to day HR support and advice to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters.
* Oversee and manage the employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
* Support employee relations matters, such as disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance the workplace culture.
* Maintain and manage HR systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records.
* Collaborate with line managers to support talent management, employee engagement, and training and development plans.
* Analyse HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and provide regular reports to senior management.
* Support HR projects, including wellbeing initiatives, diversity and inclusion strategies, and process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Skills/Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
* A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
* Experience managing employee relations cases with professionalism and confidentiality.
