38 hours per week 10.30pm - 8:00am 4 nights on 3 nights off rotation
St Hugh’s College seeks to recruit two college Night Porters to join the Lodge team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. The vacancies are required to cover the shifts detailed above. The Lodge plays a crucial role within the College community as they are responsible for reception and security for the college. The successful postholder will have general responsibility for efficient and effective running of the Lodge and conducting security patrols of the college. Tasks will include greeting college members and visitors at all times, answering the telephone, radio and email systems.
The successful candidates will have the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders. They will need to be vigilant at all times with a can-do and proactive attitude and drive to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service.
