Ecommerce Trading Specialist - Crawley Job details Hours: 37.5, Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent Location: Hybrid remote working, with 3 days a week in our VHQ, Crawley. This must include a Tuesday Closing date: Sunday, 12th January 2025 In a nutshell Known internally as an eCommerce Specialist, you'll play a key role in driving Virgin Atlantic's digital trading strategy. From optimising customer journeys to ensuring accurate merchandising and delivering impactful promotional campaigns, you'll help shape the success of our ecommerce performance. This is a role for someone passionate about ecommerce, with a knack for analysing data, improving ROI, and creating seamless digital experiences. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results that align with Virgin Atlantic's strategic ambitions while championing the digital trading function across the business. Day to day Ensure the accurate presentation of pricing, promotions, and product data across all digital platforms. Optimise the customer journey by reducing bounce rates, increasing content engagement, and driving conversions. Analyse competitor activity and industry trends to inform and refine trading strategies. Support traffic acquisition and conversion optimisation through PPC, SEO, and affiliate marketing. Provide precise planning data to support operational and resource modeling. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of promotional activities with broader business goals. Represent the ecommerce trading function at key commercial forums and meetings. Regularly review trading performance and provide actionable insights to improve metrics and outcomes. Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret data to drive performance. Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics. Knowledge of traffic acquisition strategies, including PPC, SEO, and affiliates. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. An understanding of user experiences principles and their impact on conversion and engagement.
