We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the Pathology team at the Royal Marsden in Sutton, supporting Pathology Managers and the Quality Team.
The successful applicant will be IT literate, have excellent communication skills and able to prioritise and organise a busy and varied workload.
Thepost holder will support the Pathology leadership team in the provision of a timely and efficient pathology service. They will undertake administrative duties across Pathology to support both business as usual but also new innovation projects. The post holder must be able to take responsibility for working alone and as part of a team to achieve necessary performance levels. The post-holder will be expected to provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative support service to the department, including secretarial, clerical and general office and diary management tasks. Attention to detail is essential and the post holder must be able to work to high standards, following defined protocols.

• To support the department by organising and attending meetings where necessary, circulating papers and taking minutes
• Organise own work tasks or activities and performs duties without supervision at a level of autonomy requiring decision making but can refer to more senior staff for support.
• To demonstrate awareness and compliance with Trust policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. To work towards promoting this to others.
