Position
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Staff Nurse in Assessment and Treatment, in Ward 7A at Woodland View, Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will do:
You should be creative in your thinking and approaches and open to contributing to the work of the Multi-disciplinary Team. You should be prepared to support patients within community settings in order to aid discharge planning and to encourage the wider nursing team to do so also.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You must have an RNLD or RMN qualification. Experience of working in an assessment and treatment environment or similar setting with people with complex needs is required.
You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the role of nursing in delivering person centred care and support using positive behaviour support approaches to people with a learning disability and associated health issues. Experience of supporting people with ASD is desirable.
It is essential that you have good interpersonal skills with evidence of continuous professional development.
