About The Role
Morrison Water Services is recruiting for a Operational Nightshift Team Operative to work on our WSP Yorkshire Watercontractin Sheffield.
As an Operational Nightshift Team Operative you will be part of our repair & maintenance team who are responsible for maintaining Yorkshire Waters clean water distribution system.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be someone who is dedicated to safety procedures. This role requires an individual who is highly skilled in managing a team, setting up live sites compliant with legislation, and engaging with customers effectively
As the Operational Nightshift Team Operativeyour responsibilities will include:
National Roads & Streetworks - Minimum signing, lighting & guarding
Full Clean driving licence with B+E
Water Shea and EUSR national water hygiene accreditation
EUSR CAT 1 & CAT 2 - safe digging & locate utilities
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
1. Good knowledge of Street works and the red book.
2. Experience of working in the water industry on R&M contracts is beneficial.
3. Good understanding of how to read safe dig plans and experience of excavating within the highway.
4. Basic I.T. skills
Additional Information
5. You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
6. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
7. You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
