Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a QTS Afterschool Tutor to provide 1:1 support young people within Bromley.
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional education.
Position Details:
Location - Within the community or pupils' home within Bromley.
Position - 1:1 Outreach Tutor
Type of work - Contract
Start date - ASAP
Duration - Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement or end of academic year
End date (if applicable) - Ongoing
Contract type - Temporary
Hours - Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the family (1 to 10 hours per week, per student)Experience, Training and Qualifications:
Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
QTS
UK classroom teaching experience
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxTo be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Outreach Tutor must:
Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
