Our client is a market leading manufacturer of ready meals primarily servicing the education sector with a custom-built state of the art facility with an A BRC rating ensuring premium quality product.
They are currently seeking an experienced proactive Sales & Marketing Manager to lead their commercial team.
Key responsibilities -
Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the sales and marketing team, providing training and development to ensure high performance and accountability.
Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies that align with organizational goals, including setting sales targets and tracking performance to maximize revenue.
Market Analysis: Analyse market trends, customer data, and competitor offerings to establish competitive pricing structures and enhance customer loyalty.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to make informed decisions that drive sales growth.
Team Motivation: Motivate and direct the sales team to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, resulting in increased market share and sales revenue.
Sales Best Practices: Develop and implement best practice sales vision, strategies, policies, and procedures to improve business performance and revenue generation.
Performance Forecasting: Forecast and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the sales function to assist in organizational planning and financial forecasting, providing regular evaluations to management.
Strategic Contribution: Assist in shaping the overall business strategy by contributing valuable insights from sales and marketing data.
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with food service sales experience but the right attitude and energetic motivated approach to sales is key.
Location - There is extensive national travel but as the manufacturing facility is based in the West Midlands it would be ideal if you were within an hour s commute of Birmingham.
Salary - Base salary is in a band from £77 - £88,000 plus car allowance and incentives.
