This is a hybrid role with the frequency of required office attendance dependent on your proximity to our Chippenham office.
We are looking for a passionate Prepayment Specialist to join the Prepayment team within Operations and transform the experience for our prepayment customers. You will leverage the latest technology to support their account management and collaborate with internal and external partners to maximise available benefits. This role involves proactively improving customer experience, ensuring the functionality of smart and traditional meters, monitoring prepayment data, and utilising third-party platforms to maintain healthy customer accounts. We need an excellent communicator dedicated to providing exceptional customer support and collaborating effectively with internal teams on account management, new product development, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
* Excellent Communicator & Customer Focus: Effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional care and a strong customer focus.
* Smart Meter & Account Management: Collaborate with internal teams to maintain prepayment meters and accounts and support new product and compliance initiatives.
* Proactive & Reactive Customer Support: Proactively promote smart meters and provide seamless transitions, while also delivering comprehensive inbound technical and service support.
* Report Monitoring and Recording Actions: Use reports and record your actions on accounts and trackers.
* Continuous Learning & Collaboration: Seek opportunities for professional growth in smart metering and data analysis, liaise with internal and external partners, attend third party meetings, and prepare reports when required.
What you'll need to succeed
Essentials
* Passionate about clean technology and our purpose, with exceptional communication skills.
* Proven attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Previous customer service and admin experience.
* Tech-interested, a quick learner who enjoys sharing knowledge.
* Thrives in a collaborative team environment with a focus on shared performance.
Desirables
* Previous energy experience within the UK energy industry and relevant regulations.
* Proven experience in data preparation and using CRM systems.
* Knowledge of Smart Metering and/or detailed knowledge of prepayment meters.
