Location: Brighton
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract
Pay Rate: £31 per hour (assignment rate)

Main duties of the Occupational Therapist:
* Working to resolve any therapy issues that may be delaying discharge, including the ordering of equipment where required.
* Working closely with acute and community therapy colleagues to implement a pull discharge model with an emphasis on Home First.
* Acting as an expert assessor to optimise discharge pathways where the Transfer of Care Hub requests that Home First is re-explored.
* Working closely with therapy leads to identify and address therapy issues that result in additional delay days.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
* Recent NHS experience.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Car driver preferable.
