We are looking for experienced Lecturer – Plumbing, Gas and Renewable Technologies to join our team to support the teaching within the Built Environment. The campus is well resourced to deliver a first-class learning experience with a well balanced mix of lecture theatres, classrooms, laboratories and training workshops. As a lecturer within your specialisation, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing the Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) gas qualifications and the smooth and efficient running of the gas centre. Preparing materials for learning, teaching and assessment; for the teaching of theory and practical aspects. Supervising student project work and contributing to the development of the UHI programmes in the Built Environment. Candidates should as a minimum hold a level 3 qualification in the subject area. You will also have practical industrial experience in the plumbing area. In addition, you should be a well-motivated, self-starter with good communication skills who is able to work effectively with a team.
