We have a unique opportunity to become a Dependency and Recovery Coordinator as part of our Northampton service This role will be working with the Probation Service and aims to develop and deliver interventions that tackle these behaviours while increasing the appeal of services to this underrepresented group. Where: Countywide, Northamptonshire Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week Full time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 Dependent on experience, pro rata for part time hours Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st March 2026 About the Role As a Recovery Coordinator, you will: Lead trauma-informed, strength-based interventions tailored to individual needs. Engage participants in community-based activities such as boxing, gym sessions, football, gardening, and art, to promote connection and recovery. Work flexibly across a large geographical area, requiring adaptability and a creative approach to building trust and rapport. Receive specialist training and use your expertise to train and support colleagues. Build awareness of the In Your Corner Project by promoting it to partners and attending probation huddle meetings. This role requires a skilled and experienced professional who can assess group and individual dynamics, responding in real time to ensure maximum impact and engagement. About You: Good understanding of drug and alcohol issues/ experience working in the criminal justice system. Excel in both verbal and written communication, with proficient IT skills.
