Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling and Coordination:
* Assist in developing and managing transport schedules.
* Coordinate with drivers and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
* Adapt schedules to accommodate changes or unforeseen challenges.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
* Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including logs, maintenance, and driver hours.
* Ensure proper documentation for shipments, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
* Update and manage transport management software and databases.
Communication:
* Act as a central point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal teams.
* Communicate delivery updates, schedules, and any delays.
