The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer for the Flight Simulation Labs- Hardware Interface Systems team located in Berkeley, MO.
The Flight Simulation Labs organization has expertise supporting marketing, design, development, integration, test and training objectives for Boeing military aircraft.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will create and implement solutions to complex problems that support design, development, and execution of simulation environments in development labs for the F/A-18 program. This position will support the project execution for the full product design life cycle including: requirements, design, acceptance test procedures, and associated engineering maintenance support. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and engaged with our customers and the product.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
2. Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
3. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
4. Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
5. Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
6. Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
* (Level 2) 2+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or work related engineering experience with a Master’s
* (Level 3) 5+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master’s
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Electrical Engineering experience
* Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role
* Experience developing or integrating avionics or mission systems
* Experience in Agile Software Development and JIRA
* Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range (Associate, Level 2): $79,900 - $108,100
Summary pay range (Experienced, Level 3): $96,050 - $129,950
