Hybrid role: 3 days a week onsite
Occasional travel will be required to other UK office and possibly Europe.
The role of People and Culture manager is new, but is a key role for making us ready for our next stage of growth.
The right candidate will be equally adept at building relationships within the organisation and developing our culture, but at the same time enhancing existing HR policies and procedures. Working together proactively to create a highly collaborative and supportive environment to enable everyone in the business to thrive and be the best version of themselves. Main Responsibilities
This varied and stand-alone role reports to the SMT. You will:-
Develop the company culture, including company values and behaviours. Building Trust within the organisation.
Drive people initiatives and deliver an employee experience that supports the culture of the company.
Manage the employee relations process, ensuring compliance to legislative, HR and company standards.
Develop and enhance staff communication.
Work with external HR providers to maintain and update our People HR system, along with policies and procedures, suggesting changes, implementing improvements and improving automation.
Manage and administer employee benefits.
Monitor staff appraisals 1-1s. Ensuring meetings are documented and goals/targets are followed up and time bound.
Work with managers to identify skills gaps and develop required training programs.
Manage, develop and promote the company wellbeing programme.
Improve staff retention rates.
Produce monthly Board Level People Culture Stats KPIs.
Promote equality and diversity in the business
Working with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver People and Culture projects as required.
Any other HR generalist tasks that may be required.
Skills and Experience
A highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual who can work with utmost tact and diplomacy.
Ideally three years experience in a similar role.
Open personality with the ability to engage with all colleagues and engender trust.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Meticulous organisational skills.
CIPD or similar Qualifications, but not a prerequisite for the role.
