Behaviour Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting a behaviour Teaching Assistant to work in a SEMH provision, supporting students who require additional guidance to engage with learning. This is a full-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30, the role is anticipated to last until the end of the academic year.
The Role
Supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them to engage with lessons and develop positive coping strategies.
Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create a structured and supportive environment.
Using de-escalation techniques and a positive approach to behaviour management.
Building strong relationships with students to help them achieve their potential. Requirements:
A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential for this role.
A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
