Pay: £25–£30 per hour, dependent on experience
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a resilient and dedicated Functional Skills Maths Tutor to support learners in the Bingham area. This role involves delivering one-to-one or small group tuition to students who require additional support with their numeracy skills, helping them progress towards their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and targeted Functional Skills Maths sessions (Entry Level to Level 2)
* Tailor teaching methods to suit individual learner needs
* Monitor and record student progress effectively
* Encourage learner confidence and independence in mathematics
We are looking for tutors who:
* Are resilient, reliable, and passionate about education
* Have experience delivering Functional Skills Maths or a strong background in teaching Maths
* Understand the Functional Skills Maths curriculum
* Can work independently and manage a small caseload of learners
* Build positive, supportive relationships with students from a variety of backgrounds
